  • Definition: Social influence involves the ways in which individuals are affected by the real or implied presence of others. It includes concepts like conformity, compliance, and obedience.
  • Example: Changing one’s behavior or opinions to align with those of a group.

Emotional Intelligence:

  • Definition: Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to recognize, understand, and manage one’s own emotions as well as the ability to recognize and influence the emotions of others.
  • Example: Empathizing with a friend’s feelings and responding appropriately.
